We're building a 20' mold and plan to start offering 20' boats soon.
We use our canoes on a regular basis in the wilderness of northern
Maine. These canoes are the result of trials and modifications.

Our wood strip canoes are built of white or red cedar cove and
bead strips. Two layers of fiberglass cloth are applied ot the exterior,
one layer to the interior, all bedded and faired with West System epoxy.

All materials used in our shop are the best quality available. Perfection is what we strive for and only the best is what every customer deserves.

  • Fasteners are of silicone bronze or brass.
  • Ribs and planks are of clear northern white cedar.
  • Inwhales are made from white spruce, ash, or mahogany.
  • Outwhales are made from white spruce, ash, mahogany, or cherry.
  • Seat caning can be pressed or hand-woven with natural or nylon cane.
  • Clear finish is achieved with quality marine spar varnish.
  • Finish paints are top quality marine coatings and the best polyurethene-based paints.

Freight costs are in addition to the above prices. We ship ground freight at cost.
